Operational and Building Data: Laid down by New York, Naval Ship Yard, March 10 1903. Launched September 29 1904. Commissioned September 29 1906. Decommissioned March 1 1923. Stricken November 10 1923.
Fate: Sold November 1 1923 and broken up for scrap.

Many of those present are identified on Photo # NH 95151 (complete caption). Photographed by Hadsell, Vera Cruz. The ship appears to be one of the Connecticut class (BB-18- 22/25). Connecticut251kIn the summer of 1920, Connecticut (BB-18) sailed to the Caribbean and the west coast on a midshipman-Naval Reserve training cruise. The next summer found her in European ports on similar duty, and upon her return to Philadelphia 21 August 1921, was as signed as flagship Train, Pacific Fleet.
She is seen here in the harbour of Genoa, Italy.
