Bronson 92kClarence King Bronson was born in Bushnell, III., 21 July 1888, and was a member of the Naval Academy Class of 1910. After service afloat, he was trained in aviation in 1914 at the Curtis Aeroplane Co., Hammondsport, N.Y., and Pensacola, Fla. Lieutenant (junior grade) Bronson was killed at the Naval Proving Ground, Indianhead, Md., 8 November 1916, while testing experimental aerial bombs.
