Laid down by Consolidated Steel, Orange TX. on April 5 1943.
Launched June 29 1943.
Commissioned October 30 1943.
Decommissioned November 20 1945.
Loaned to USCG and Recommissioned WDE-422, July 20 1951.
Returned USN and Decommissioned June 1 1954.
Reclassified and converted DER-322, November 1 1956.
Recommissioned August 20 1957.
Decommissioned September 21 1968.
Stricken September 23 1968.
Fate Sold December 15 1971 and broken up for scrap.
Can be seen in the Movie TORA, TORA,TORA.
