The Japanese Freighter S.S. Shunko Maru is sinking in the central Pacific, after she was torpedoed by Skipjack (SS-184) on 14 October 1942. Photographed through Skipjack's periscope.
Shunko Maru's back appears to be broken, and her hull bears traces of pattern camouflage paint.
