Naval acquisition officially canceled, 29 August 1945
Launched, 11 August 1945 as M/V Mexia
Delivered to the Maritime Commission as and uncompleted hull, 18 September 1945
Sold for commercial service, 16 July 1947, to International Tankers, renamed MV Transpar
Resold in 1958 and renamed MV Kwang Lung
Final Disposition, burnt and sank in 1971
