  • Built in New Zealand in 1905 by William Brown, as a topsail rigged twin-masted (flat bottom) schooner
  • Transferred to the US Navy under reverse Lend-Lease from New Zealand
  • Commissioned, USS Echo (IX-95), 4 November 1942, ENS. M. C. Riddle in command
  • Decommissioned, 15 March 1944, at Wellington, New Zealand and returned to the Government of New Zealand
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Current Disposition, preserved at Picton, New Zealand as the Echo Gallery, a scow museum and café
