  • Laid down, 05 May 1944
  • Launched, 21 July 1944
  • Placed in service, 24 November 1944
  • During World War II APL-9 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • Towed from New Orleans to Manus, via Canal Zone, Galapagos, Bora Bora and Tulagi by ATA-184, 10 December 1944-22 February 1945
  • Stationed at Manus through at least November 1945
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 01 April 1974
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), 14 August 1974
  • Placed in service as merchant barge MLC-260 (ON 581255), circa 1974
  • Final Disposition, unknown, still extant early 1990s
