  • A Southern pilot boat captured by Union screw gunboat USS Tahoma around 24 February 1863
  • Placed in service as a tender to Tahoma
  • Purchased by the Navy, 24 July 1863
  • Operated between Tampa Bay and Charlotte Harbor, FL.m serving as a tender for the various Union warships assigned in turn to Tampa Bay
  • Captured Southern Sloop Josephine, 24 January 1864
  • Reassigned to blockade duty in October 1864, serving as tender
  • Inactivated in late May 1865
  • Struck from the Naval Register and sold, 28 June 1865, at auction at Key West, to I. Silvery
