  • Built in 1862 at Savannah, GA. as the iron-clad floating battery, Georgia, also known as State of Georgia and Ladies' Ram Paid for by the Ladies' Gunboat Association which raised $115,000 for her construction
  • Launched, date unknown
  • Commissioned CSS Georgia, date unknown at Savannah, GA., LT. Washington Gwathmey CSN in command
  • CSS Georgia served in the defense of Savannah, GA. anchored in the Savannah River as a floating battery, protecting both the city and Fort Jackson
  • Final Disposition, scuttled by her crew, 21 December 1964, when Gen Sherman captured the city
