Returned to the Maritime Commission, 29 June 1946, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.
Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 16 November 1966, to Union Metals and Alloys Corp (PD-X-742) for $63,247.00. Removed 9 December 1966. Scrapping completed 10 July 1967
