  • During World War II USS LSM(R)-518 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater:
    LSM(R) Flotilla Eighteen, CAPT. C. F. Macklin USN
    LSM(R) Group Forty-Four
    LSM(R) Division One Hundred Seven
  • Decommissioned, 21 May 1947, at Green Cove Springs, FL;
  • Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Florida Group, Green Cove Springs
  • Named USS Pit River LSM(R)-518, 1 October 1955
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 1 October 1958
  • Final Disposition, sold in June 1959, to Philip Walker Sales Co., fate unknown.
