  • During World War II USS LSM-423 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and saw service at Okinawa and the Philippines
  • Following World War II USS LSM-423 performed occupation duty in the Far East
  • Decommissioned, 10 August 1946, at NOB Subic Bay , Philippines
  • Struck from the Naval Register (date unknown)
  • Final Disposition, sold, 13 February 1948, to the Republic of China, fate unknown
