  • Commissioned USS LCI(L)-34, 23 January 1943;
  • During World War II LCI(L)-34 / LCI(G)-34 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and participated in the:
  • Redesignated Landing Craft (Guns) LCI(G)-34, 15 June 1944;
  • Redesignated Landing Craft (Rockets) LCI(R)-34, 10 July 1945;
  • Decommissioned, (date unknown);
  • Struck from the Naval Register, (date unknown);
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission, 27 April 1947, for disposal;
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown;
  • LCI(L)-34 was awarded three Navy Unit Commendations for the (a) Western New Guinea operation, 22 April to 30 July 1944, (b) Luzon, 15 December 1944, 9 January to 2 February 1945, and (c) Borneo operation, 7 June to 1 July 1945 and received seven battle stars for WWII service.
