LCI(L)-340 / LCI(R)-340



Bill Freeman in LCI(R)-340 in the early morning of 16 February 1945 at Mariveles harbor, Bataan shortly after suicide boats hit 4 LCS's resulting in the sinking of three and beaching of one. (Note the shell damage near left hand) Two hours later, while firing rockets on Corregidor, LCI(R)-340's mast was shot away and numerous small arms fire pelted the ship.
