  • Laid down in August 1942 at Omaha Steel Works, Omaha, NE.
  • Launched in September 1942
  • Delivered and transferred, 5 February 1943, to the United Kingdom, under the Lend-Lease program for Mediterranean Theater service, redesignated HM LCT-2310
  • Armor plating added in early 1944 in the United Kingdom prior to Reverse Lend-Lease to the US Navy, redesignated LCT(A)-2310
  • During World War II LCT(A)-2310 was assigned to the Europe-Africa-Middle East Theater and participated in the following campaign:
