    239k From left to right; LCT(6)-1035 partially obscured by LCT(6)-1036 (center) and on the right LCT(6)-1037 partially obscured by a tank coming ashore, 9 January 1945 at around 1008 hours. Enemy mortars can't stop the flow of American armor onto the beaches of Lingayen Gulf as the invasion of Luzon gets under way. The tanks roared ashore heading for the broad highways to Manila.
