  • Reclassified as a Submarine Chaser, PC-1599, 1 June 1944
  • Damaged by grounding 1 June 1945 off Hagushi, Okinawa
  • Reclassified as a Control Submarine Chaser, PCC-1599, 20 August 1945
  • Decommissioned 14 December 1945 at San Francisco, CA
  • Struck from the Naval Register 8 January 1946
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal 18 March 1949
    Naval Vessel Register of 1 January 1949 lists transfer to the War Shipping Administration as March 1948
  • Acquired in 1956 to the Submarex Corp. of Santa Barbara, CA for use as an oil exploration vessel and renamed Exploit
  • Out of documentation in 1966
  • Fate unknown.
