Seer served the Navies of the United States and Norway.

Auk Class Minesweeper: Laid down, 28 November 1941 by the American Shipbuilding Co., Lorain (Cleveland), OH; Launched, 23 May 1942; Commissioned USS Seer (AM 112), 21 October 1942; Decommissioned 26 April 1947 at Orange, TX; Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Texas Group, Orange: Recommissioned, 8 November 1950; Reclassified as a Fleet Minesweeper (Steel Hull), MSF-112, 7 February 1955; Decommissioned, 11 March 1955 at Green Cove Springs, FL; Reclassified as a Coastal Minelayer, MMC-5, 31 October 1958; Conversion to coastal minelayer begun in Norway in September 1960 and completed in September 1962; Transferred to the Royal Norwegian Navy 15 December 1962 as Uller (N 50); Struck from the Naval Register, 1 March 1963. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 890 t.; Length 221' 2"; Beam 32'; Draft 10' 9"; Speed 18.1 kts.; Complement 105; Armament one 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, two single 40mm gun mounts, two single 20mm gun mounts, two depth charge tracks, five depth charge projectiles; Propulsion two 3,532shp General Motors
12-278 diesel electric engines, Farrel- Birmingham single reduction gear, two shafts.
