Admirable Class Minesweeper:

  • Originally planned as Barrier (AMc 127)
  • Reclassified AM-150, 21 February 1942
  • Laid down 7 December 1942 by the Tampa Shipbuilding Co. Inc., Tampa, FL
  • Launched 23 February 1943
  • Commissioned USS Barrier (AM 150), 10 May 1944
  • Decommissioned 18 July 1945 at Cold Bay, AK; transferred to the Soviet Union and reclassified T-335
  • Assigned to the Pacific Fleet 7 August 1945 and participated in the landing at Seisen (Chongjin), Korea
  • Reclassified as a Fleet Minesweeper (Steel Hull), MSF-150, 7 February 1955
  • Reclassified as a Dispatch Ship
  • Named Istok 17 October 1955
  • Scrapped 11 July 1956
  • Struck from the Naval Register 1 January 1983.
