The uniform hanging on the medicine cabinet is that of a Hospital Corpsman 1st Class (HM1) while the uniform on the bunk is that of a Pharmacist's Mate 1/c (PhM1/c) which became Hospital Corpsman in 1947. The gold cloth emblem on the right breast is a "Ruptured Duck" signifying the member was honorably discharged
