  • Laid down 19 January 1944 by the Savannah Machine and Foundry Co., Savannah, GA
  • Launched 6 February 1944
  • Commissioned USS Invade (AM 254), 18 September 1944
    Naval Vessel Register of 1 January 1949 lists plan for decommissioning and placing in reserve as December 1945
  • Decommissioned 7 August 1946 at Orange, TX
  • Reclassified as a Fleet Minesweeper (Steel Hull), MSF-254, 7 February 1955
  • Struck from the Naval Register 1 May 1962
  • Sold to Mexico 30 August 1962 and renamed ARM DM-18
  • Fate unknown.
