  • Launched 15 August 1943
  • Commissioned USS Sentry (AM 299), 30 May 1944
    Naval Vessel Register of 1 January 1949 lists plan for decommissioning and placing in reserve as December 1945
  • Decommissioned 19 June 1946 at Orange, TX
  • Reclassified as a Fleet Minesweeper (Steel Hull), MSF-299, 7 February 1955
  • Struck from the Navy Register 1 February 1962
  • Transferred to the Republic of Vietnam 31 August 1962 and renamed RVN Ky Hoa (HQ 09)
  • Fate unknown.
