  • Laid down 18 September 1943 by the Willamette Iron and Steel Corp., Portland, OR
  • Launched 4 July 1944
  • Construction canceled 1 November 1945
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission 21 October 1947
  • Sold for scrap 16 December 1947 to Zidell Explorations, Inc., of Portland, OR.


  • Displacement 945 t.
  • Length 184' 6"
  • Beam 33'
  • Draft 9' 9"
  • Propulsion: Two 1,710shp Busch Sulzer 539 diesel engines, Farrel-Birmingham single reduction gear, two shafts.
