Sample, Jr. Inc., Boothbay Harbor, Maine; Launched, 12 July 1956; Commissioned 16 June 1958; Decommissioned in December 1970; Laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, Mare Island Group; Struck from the Navy Register 15 May 1976; Sold for scrap 6 January 1977 to Oskco Edwards of Capistrano Beach, CA for $40,010.

Specifications: Displacement 633 t.(lt) , 750 t.(fl); Length 173'; Beam 36'; Draft 14'; Speed 14 kts; Complement 78; Armament one 40mm gun mount, two .50 cal. machine guns; Propulsion, four 570shp Packard diesel engines, two shafts, two controllable pitch propellers.
