  • Placed in service as USS Phoebe (AMc 57), 2 May 1941
  • Placed out of service 17 December 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register 8 January 1946
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal in March 1946
  • Sold 27 March 1946 to her builder and renamed Western Explorer
  • Foundered 14 May 1956 off Socorro Island, Mexico near Bimmer's Cove.
