  • Laid down 30 May 1944 by the Kansas City Structural Steel Co., Kansas City, MO
  • Launched 28 June 1944
  • Placed in service as LCT(6)-844, 6 July 1944 under the command of ENS R. A. Thornton, USN
  • Reclassified as a Coastal Minesweeper (Underwater Locator), AMCU-2, 10 March 1945
  • Transferred to the War Shipping Administration in October 1947
  • Registered in 1961 to Powell Bros., Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, FL as the freighter Barge 28 out of Miami, FL
  • Fate unknown.
