MSC-82 was built for Italy
Adjutant Class Motor Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as AMS-82 by the Lake Union Dry Dock Co., Seattle, WA
  • Completed 29 December 1953, transferred to Italy and named Larice (M 5510)
  • Reclassified by U. S. Navy as a Coastal Minesweeper, MSC-82, 7 February 1955
  • Struck from the Naval Register in 1995
  • Fate unknown.

  • Displacement 405 t.
  • Length 144'
  • Beam 27'
  • Draft 9'
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Complement 40
  • Armament: Two twin 20mm mounts
  • Propulsion: Two General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
