AMS-86 was built for France.

Adjutant Class Motor Minesweeper: Laid down AMS-86 by Stephen Brothers, Inc., Stockton, CA; Completed 24 January 1954 and transferred to France as Laurier (M 681); Commissioned 24 June 1954; Reclassified by U.S. Navy as a Coastal Minesweeper, MSC-86, 7 February 1955; Sold 29 December 1980 and struck from the Navy Register; Scrapped in 1983 at Toulon, France.

Specifications: Displacement 405 t.; Length 144'; Beam 27'; Draft 9'; Speed 14 kts; Complement 40; Armament, two twin 20-mm; Propulsion two 880bhp General Motors 8-268A diesel engines, Snow and Knobstedt single reduction gear, two shafts.
