MSC-91 was built for Portugal
Adjutant Class Motor Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as AMS-91 by M. M. Davis and Son, Inc., Solomons, MD
  • Completed 20 September 1953 and transferred to Portugal as Vila do Porto (M 408)
  • Reclassified by U. S. Navy as a Coastal Minesweeper, MSC-91, 7 February 1955
  • Scrapped in 1976.

  • Draft 9'
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Complement 40
  • Armament: Two twin 20mm mounts
  • Propulsion: General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
