MSI-13 was built for Iran.

MSI-13 Class Inshore Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as MSI-13 by Tacoma Boat Building Co., Tacoma, WA
  • Delivered 3 September 1964, transferred to Iran and named Kahnamuie (M 301)
  • Renamed and reclassified Harischi (M 311)
  • Sunk in 1981 during the Iran/Iraq war.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 203 t.
  • Length 112'
  • Beam 23'
  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 12 kts.
  • Complement 21
  • Armament: One .50 cal. machine gun; Propulsion: Four 250bhp General Motors 6-71 diesel engines, two shafts.
