  • Laid down as Motor Minesweeper AMS-223 by Ch. Augustin Normand, Le Havre, France under the off-shore procurement plan of the Military Defense Assistance Pact
  • Reclassified by U. S. Navy as a Coastal Minesweeper, MSC-223, 7 February 1955
  • Launched 21 July 1955
  • Completed 29 December 1955 as Bellatrix (M 750)
  • Commissioned 20 August 1956
  • Returned to U.S. custody in 1972
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 8' 3"
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Complement 39
  • Armament: One 20mm mount
