MSC-278 was built for the Republic of China.

MSC-268 Coastal Minesweeper: Laid down as MSC-278 by the Tacoma Boat Building Co., Tacoma, WA; Completed 21 June 1959 and transferred to the Republic of China as Yung Chou (MSC 158). Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 370 t.; Length 152'; Beam 28'; Draft 7'; Speed 14 kts; Complement 38; Armament two 20-mm; Propulsion two 1,200 shp General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
