MSI-1 Class Inshore Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as MSI-93 by the Mercantile Marine Yard, Kruibeke, Belgium
  • Commissioned RBNS Tournai (M 481)
  • Transferred to South Korea in 1970
  • Fate unknown.

  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 21
  • Armament: One twin 20mm Oerlikon
  • One Mercedes Benz V12 700kw magnetic pulse generator and two 6-cylinder Gardiner 60kw diesel generators
  • Propulsion: Two 700kw Mercedes Benz V12 diesel engines, reduction to one shaft.
