MSI-1 Class Inshore Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as MSI-97 by the Mercantile Marine Yard, Kruibeke, Belgium
  • Commissioned as Andenne (M 485)
  • Decommissioned and struck from the Navy Register in 1991
  • Scrapped.

  • Length 112'
  • Beam 23'
  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 21
  • Armament: One twin 20mm Oerliken
  • Propulsion: Two 700kw Mercedes Benz V12 diesel engines, two shafts
