  • Reclassified and converted to a High Speed Minesweeper, DMS-40, 30 May 1945
  • Decommissioned and placed in reserve 19 March 1947 at Bremerton, WA and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet Stockton, CA Group
    Naval Vessel Register of 1 January 1949 lists plan for decommissioning and placing in reserve as January 1947
  • Reclassified back to a Destroyer, DD-633, 15 July 1955
  • Struck from the Navy Register 1 December 1966
  • Sunk as a target 27 October 1967.
