  • The second Brant was laid down 4 June 1941 by San Diego Marine Construction Co., San Diego, CA
  • Launched 13 February 1942
  • Commissioned USS YMS-113, 12 June 1942
  • Completed 12 August 1942
  • Decommissioned 7 August 1946
  • Placed in service 1 December 1946 and assigned as a Naval Reserve training vessel in the 9th Naval District (Great Lakes)
  • Reclassified as a Motor Minesweeper, AMS-43 and named Brant, 1 September 1947
  • Placed out of service 10 February 1950 at Orange, TX
  • Recommissioned 12 February 1951
  • Reclassified as a Coastal Minesweeper (Old), MSC(O)-43, 7 February 1955
  • Decommissioned 23 October 1955 and laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Green Cove Springs, FL group
  • Struck from the Naval Register 1 November 1959
  • Fate unknown.
