  • Laid down 23 June 1942 as YMS-174 by Henry C. Grebe and Co., Chicago, IL
  • Launched 19 December 1942
  • Completed 22 May 1943
  • Transferred to Great Britian 7 June 1943 and reclassified HMS J-974
  • Reclassified HMS BYMS-2174
  • Struck from the Naval Register 10 June 1947 and transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 32
  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, two 20mm mounts, and two depth charge projectors
