  • Laid down 25 July 1942 as BYMS-73 by Wheeler Shipbuilding Corp., Whitestone, NY
  • Launched 7 April 1943
  • Completed 31 May 1943, transferred to Great Britain and reclassified J-873
  • Reclassified BYMS-2073
  • Returned to U.S. custody 23 May 1947; transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission; sold to Italy and named Begonia (DR 402)
  • Reclassified M-5402
  • Renamed Maresciallo Oltramonte
  • Struck from the Naval Register 10 June 1947
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 32
  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, two 20mm mounts and two depth charge tracks
  • Propulsion: Two 880bhp General Motors 8-268A diesel engines, Snow and Knobstedt single reduction gear, two shafts.
