  • Laid down 30 April 1942 as YMS-209 by Robert Jacob, Inc., City Island, NY
  • Launched 15 August 1942
  • Completed 24 March 1943, transferred to Great Britain and reclassified HM J-1009
  • Reclassified HM BYMS-2209
  • Returned to U. S. custody 15 April 1946, loaned to Greece and named Zakynthos (M 212)
  • Given to Greece 22 July 1952
  • Struck from the Naval Register 8 September 1952
  • Struck from the Greek Navy register in 1973
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.

  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, two 20mm mounts, and two depth charge projectors
