  • Laid down 4 July 1942 as YMS-236 by Stadium Yacht Basin Inc., Cleveland, OH
  • Launched 16 January 1943
  • Completed 23 June 1943
  • Transferred to Great Britain 26 June 1943 and reclassified HMS J-1036
  • Reclassified HMS BYMS-2236
  • Returned to U.S. custody 3 September 1946
  • Transferred to an unknown Government Agency in November 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register 25 February 1947
  • Fate unknown.

  • Length 136'
  • Beam 24' 6"
  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 32
  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, two 20mm mounts, and two depth charge projectors
  • Propulsion: Two 880bhp General Motors 8-268A diesel engines, Snow and Knobstedt single reduction gear, two shafts.
