  • Laid down 8 March 1943 as YMS-344 by the Bellingham Marine Railway and Boat Building Co., Bellingham, WA
  • Launched 4 June 1943
  • Reclassified as a District Degaussing Vessel, YDG-6, 12 August 1943
  • Seriously damaged in typhoon Louise 9 October 1945 at Okinawa
  • Fate unknown.

  • Length 136'
  • Beam 24' 6"
  • Draft 8'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 32
  • Armament: Two 20mm mounts
  • Propulsion: Two 900shp General Motors 8-268A diesel engines, Snow and Knobstedt single reduction gear, two shafts.
