YMS-1 Class Auxiliary Motor Minesweeper: Laid down 14 May 1943 as a Patrol Craft Sweeper, PCS-1432 by the Gibbs Gas Engine Co., Jacksonville, FL; Reclassified as an Auxiliary Motor Minesweeper, YMS-464, 27 September 1943; Launched 9 December 1943; Completed 13 June 1944; Transferred to the Soviet Union 15 May 1945 as T-188; Scrapped in 1954.
Specifications: Displacement 270 t.; Length 136'; Beam 24' 6"; Draft 8'; Speed 15 kts; Complement 32; Armament one single 3"/50 gun mount, two 20mm, two dcp; Propulsion two General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
