  • Laid down 23 January 1943 by the Consolidated Shipbuilding Co., Morris Heights, NY
  • Launched 14 March 1943
  • Commissioned 17 July 1943
  • Identified for disposal as a target in November 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register 28 March 1946
  • Destroyed as a target in 1949.

  • Draft 10' 10"
  • Speed 20.2 kts.
  • Complement 65
  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purpose gun mount, one 40mm gun mount, five 20mm guns, two rocket launchers, and two depth charge tracks
  • Propulsion: Two 1,440bhp Hooven-Owen-Rentschler R-99DA diesel engines (Serial No. 7013 and 7014), Westinghouse single reduction gear, two shafts.
