PC-1610 Class Submarine Chaser/Albatros Class Corvette: Laid down in 1954 as PC-1620 by Navalmeccanica of Castellammare di Stabia, Castellamare, Italy using "offshore" funds; Delivered in 1955 and commissioned Alcione (F 544); Decommissioned in 1992. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 895 t.; Length 76.30m; Beam 9.60m; Draft 2.79m; Speed unknown; Complement unknown; Armament unknown; Propulsion 4,000hp Potenza diesel engines, two shafts.
