  • Laid down in 1964 as PC-1644 by Helsingør Verft (Elsinore Ship Yard), Elsinore, Denmark of Danish design in cooperation with the U. S. Naval Material Command
  • Launched 2 May 1965
  • Commissioned HDMS Peder Skram (F 352), 25 May 1966
  • Decommissioned 5 July 1990
  • Sold 7 April 1992 for use as a museum ship
  • Presently a museum ship at Holman, Copenhagen, Denmark.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 2,425 t.
  • Length 370'
  • Beam 39' 3"
  • Draft 12' 1"
  • Speed with Combined Diesel or Gas Turbines (CODOG) 32.7 kts. (max.), on diesels 16 kts. at 800 rpm
  • Complement 207
  • Armament - Two dual 5"/38 mounts, four 40mm mounts, four 21" torpedo tubes, one 51mm rocket launcher (Illumination), and one depth charge launchers aft
    After conversion - one 5"/38 dual mount, four 40mm mounts, two 20mm mounts, four 21" torpedo tubes, one 51mm rocket launcher (Illumination), eight Harpoon Surface-to-Surface Missiles (2x4), eight Sea Sparrow Surface-to-Air Missiles (1x8), and one depth charge projector
  • Propulsion: Two 44,000hp Pratt and Whitney gas turbine and two 4,800hp General Motors 16V567D diesel engines, two shafts.
