PC-1638 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down in 1970 by Astilleros Maestranzas de la Armada (ASMAR), Talcahuano, Chile; Commissioned Papudo (P 37) in 1971; Struck in 1993. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement unknown; Length unknown; Beam unknown; Draft unknown; Speed unknown; Complement unknown; Armament one Mk 15 trainable ASW Hedgehog mortar, one single 40mm gun mount; three 20mm guns; Propulsion two Genral Motors 16-567 diesel engines, two shafts.
