  • Laid down 8 January 1919 by the Ford Motor Co., Detroit, MI
  • Launched 15 March 1919
  • Commissioned USS Eagle No. 34, 3 September 1919
  • Designated PE-34, 17 July 1920
  • Struck from the Navy list 27 April 1932
  • Sold as a hulk 9 June 1932 and scrapped.


  • Displacement 710 t.
  • Length 200' 9"
  • Beam 25' 9"
  • Draft 13' 6"
  • Speed 18.32 kts.
  • Complement 61
  • Armament: One 4"/50 gun mounts, and two .50 cal. machine guns
  • Propulsion: Two Thorny-Craft Bureau Mod. boilers, one 2,500shp Poole turbine, Ford single reduction gear, one shaft.
