  • Laid down 13 October 1942 by the Electric Boat Co., Elco Works, Bayonne, NJ
  • Launched 29 December 1942
  • Completed 12 January 1943
  • Placed in service 20 January 1943 and assigned to Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron ELEVEN (PTRon 11) under the command of Lt. Comdr. Leroy T. Taylor
  • PTRon 11, assigned to the South Pacific, had action at Rendova, Vella Lavella, Bougainville, and Emirau. Transferred to the Southwest Pacific in June 1944, the squadron had action at Morotai, in the Halmaheras. It also based for
    a time at Mios Woendi, Dutch New Guinea, but had no action from that base
  • Placed out of service, stripped and destroyed 11 November 1945 at Samar, Philippines.
