80' Elco Motor Torpedo Boat:

  • Laid down 24 October 1942 by the Electric Boat Co., Elco Works, Bayonne, NJ
  • Launched 7 January 1943
  • Completed 22 January 1943, placed in service and assigned to Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron ELEVEN (PTRon 11) under the command of Lt. Comdr. Leroy T. Taylor, USN
  • PTRon 11, assigned to the South Pacific, had action at Rendova, Vella Lavella, Bougainville, and Emirau. Transferred to the Southwest Pacific in June 1944, the squadron had action at Morotai, in the Halmaheras. It also based for
    a time at Mios Woendi, Dutch New Guinea, but had no action from that base
  • The "Marie" was struck from the Naval Register 28 November 1945
  • Transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission in May 1946 and sold
  • Fate unknown.
