  • Laid down 20 December 1943 as PT-396 by Robert Jacobs, City Island, NY
  • Launched 28 July 1944
  • Completed 9 September 1944, transferred to Great Britain and named HM MTB-408 under the command of T/Lt. Raymond Philip Tonkin, RNVR
  • Returned to U.S. custody 10 November 1945
  • Transferred to Italy 4 April 1948, reclassified as a Torpedo Recovery Craft and renamed GIS-0011
  • Renamed GIS-834
  • Reclassified as a Motor Torpedo Boat, MS-834
  • Renamed MS-434
  • Struck from the Navy list 30 June 1959
  • Fate unknown.
